Golf CV  Ricky Sanders .

Born 20th October 1996. The Hague, Netherlands.

Current hcp plus 0.3

Homecourse: The  Royal  Hague Golf & Countryclub Wassenaar.

I have started playing golf at the age of 11.

In my first year I had lessons from my dad and my first coach Neil Moran.  After that I was taught by one of the top coaches in The Netherlands, Mr John Woof, with whom I trained for two years  untill he left the club. We then found a great coach in Portugal, Mr P.Hoyles, who received his PGA Certification at the David Leadbetter Academy. I went to work with him every eight weeks from November 2009 till August 2013 and greatly improved my skills. As a result I have been elected to play in the first mens team of The Royal Hague Golf & Country Club Wassenaar and have started training with the new coach there, Mr.Ben Collier, a former European Tour player. I now play at the highest competition level in The Netherlands. I also work with Floris Vos who was my mental coach initially. We are training on a weekly basis, concentrating on the technical aspects of my game and on my shortgame. He is of great value to me, as  is my dad, who makes videos of  practise and matches to help me develope and improve.

I played many national and open tournaments till 21, like national championships. I also played international tournaments in England, Scotland, Germany, Portugal and Belgium.

At the present I am training hard almost every day at the driving range and the shortgame & putting area. During winter I concentrate on training my body in the gym, doing TPI exercises and stretching. I am also working with my fitness coach Donald van Poorten at Max Health Club in order to become stronger, better balanced and more flexible. All the exercises I receive from a highly qualified golf physio 3D body control specialist Mr. Raposo, who lives in Brasil , with whom I work on all important muscles.

My greatest wish is to become a professional player and play at the highest level in Europe and the USA. I have learned a lot here in The Netherlands but I realize that,  in order to advance  in my golf career and further develope my skills, I need to go to the USA.

I hope I will be able to start in 2015 after I graduated from high school in May.
